Is there a way to disable pinning in node config?

Seems that setting max storage to zero could be a workaround:

Yes.

A quick workaround is to set MaxStorage in the Kubo configuration in the trusted peers to 0. That will put them last in the priority list when deciding allocations.

But then, would the node still accept to store new blocks?
