# File sharing for images?

Hello, my usual file sharing cloud provider for images is buggy, so I thought I’d try IPFS.  
Is this what IPFS can be used for?  
For example: posting on a forum and sharing an image needs a URL like this ![alt text](image url) rather than uploading the image.

It is a static website.  
You can simply copy (upload) it to ipfs. One step, all done.
