# How bad is it if the swarm key is hacked on a private ipfs network?

For a private ipfs network with many nodes, it is very possible the swarm key is hacked somehow. What will be the worst consequence after swarm key is hacked? Are the data integrity and security on the whole private ipfs network in jeopardy and great risk?
