How to backup and restore

I have 2 ipfs apps in ubuntu, the gui and comman line.
Both seems to have separate service and they do not share each other’s databases.

how can I backup them if my computer gets messed up and i need to restore them? basically to be able to add more files to my ipns ?

This forum also has a ‘search’ feature so you can search for the word “backup” and find lots of good stuff.
