How to create links between the blocks added in IPFS?

What type of blockchain do you want to make? What problem are you trying to solve? Who will be able to add stuff? How often?..

And IPFS is a nice tool to store your blocks and to link them, libp2p is a nice tool for exchanging them, but that doesn’t make it a blockchain.

Hi there, if I do understand IPFS correctly, it should be possible to set up linked content on it, right? I mean, where is my mistake for this “poor man’s blockchain”: you store a fixed amount of transactional data in a directory (e.g. 100 transactions) as block 0 you pin the data up on ipfs you grab the hash of the directory, and post it somewhere for verification purposes for every subsequent block: you store the hash of the previous block, then add your files to it repin it grab hash …
