# IPNS using inbrowser.link?

Hopefully this is the correct place to ask this.  
If not, please point me to a better location.  
Should inbrowser.link work with IPNS?

This works:  
[https://k51qzi5uqu5dhq2s1u99oj2fa0j30ly88ysva5o6c8mznr77pmf7e4mfxpqy8w.ipns.dweb.link](https://k51qzi5uqu5dhq2s1u99oj2fa0j30ly88ysva5o6c8mznr77pmf7e4mfxpqy8w.ipns.dweb.link)

This does not work:

Should it work?

FYI the right plance is [https://github.com/ipfs/service-worker-gateway/issues](https://github.com/ipfs/service-worker-gateway/issues)

We want feature parity, so this is a bug.  
Filled [Error on IPNS Record resolution · Issue #662 · ipfs/service-worker-gateway · GitHub](https://github.com/ipfs/service-worker-gateway/issues/662), lets continue there.

Thanks for reporting this @williamclark. This bug was already fixed in [fix: ipns.resolve doesn't error in browsers by SgtPooki · Pull Request #210 · ipfs/helia-verified-fetch · GitHub](https://github.com/ipfs/helia-verified-fetch/pull/210). We just deployed the latest version of the Service Worker Gateway to `inbrowser.link` and it should work now.

Example:

The reason that [https://k51qzi5uqu5dhq2s1u99oj2fa0j30ly88ysva5o6c8mznr77pmf7e4mfxpqy8w.ipns.inbrowser.link/](https://k51qzi5uqu5dhq2s1u99oj2fa0j30ly88ysva5o6c8mznr77pmf7e4mfxpqy8w.ipns.inbrowser.link/) doesn’t work is that [no providers can be found for the CID `QmNYYWeSFCkoxQzySCJdfYPSd7ztkQxB6zW8TEQm8j2JsK` it points to](https://check.ipfs.network/?cid=QmNYYWeSFCkoxQzySCJdfYPSd7ztkQxB6zW8TEQm8j2JsK&multiaddr=&ipniIn):
