# Kubo v0.43.0 is out

## Kubo v0.43.0 is out

This release closes several memory-exhaustion and crash issues, so updating is recommended. It also keeps browsers able to reach your node as Chrome, Firefox and Safari change underneath it, fixes `ipfs files` hanging during garbage collection, and reworks how long IPNS and DNSLink records are cached. 🔗 Native `ipfs://` and `ipns://` URIs work as input  
🗂 `ipfs files` no longer hangs when garbage collection runs  
🕒 Revamped TTL and expiration handling for IPNS and DNSLink  
📡 Future-proofing browser retrieval: `webrtc-direct` v2 and WebTransport draft-15  
🧭 Delegated routers now hand browsers an address they can dial  
🔐 secp256k1 key generation, export, and import  
🛜 One-time notice when behind CGNAT  
🖥 WebUI updated to v4.13
