# Pinning file to public gateways

Hello everyone,  
Could I somehow add files to public gateways listed in [gateways checker](https://ipfs.github.io/public-gateway-checker/). I know a [website](https://anarkrypto.github.io/upload-files-to-ipfs-from-browser-panel/public/) allows adding files from frontend, it lets user enter the public gateway but it seems that file is uploaded on browser node, not public node.

You cant upload files to other IPFS nodes (gateway or not). Your file can get there only if remote node requests (and then cache) file from your node.
