# Why is the ipfs file available under ipfs.io but cannot be imported to ipfs desktop?

when I try to import it i get a message that the file cannot be previewed and i am unable to download it

aht i woule likje to achieve is pinning the file, which is linked to an nft on hicetnunc [hic et nunc](https://www.hicetnunc.xyz/objkt/119701)
