Would it be possible to use web components or even block protocol for IPFS?

Hello everyone. Would it be possible to use web components or even block protocol for IPFS?

Are you referring to Web Components | MDN?

You can certainly use Web Components in a frontend that makes use of IPFS.

What are you trying to do?

Exactly this is an idea. But how can I do that? How can I use web components in frontend that makes use of IPFS? Is there any documentation about this?

That’s beyond the scope of a simple forum answer and I don’t have much experience with Web Components.

For a sense of what it’s like to use IPFS in the browser, check out the browser examples in the examples repo GitHub - ipfs-examples/js-ipfs-examples: Collection of js-ipfs examples

I could be incorrect but Web Components seem to be entirely front-end, no? If so, you’d just use them how you normally would, and if the website is loaded over IPFS or HTTP it should work the same way.

Yes. It would work.

I have used Web Components in this project:

https://cloudflare-ipfs.com/ipns/gamedb.eth/

If you view the source code of that page, you will see its pixel art UI are all web components.
