Does the IPFS_API take an http url, multi address, or both?
Where? I don’t think go-ipfs checks this variable.
For some reason I thought you could set that env var to have it connect to a remote API but maybe that’s the reason I can’t find anything on it.
You need to use the --api flag or write the multiaddress in the ~/.ipfs/api file.
