I’m interested in contributing to the ipfs/kubo repository, but I’m having trouble finding a clear development setup guide for new contributors.
I’ve checked the README, CONTRIBUTING.md, and IPFS docs, but couldn’t find a concise guide covering things like required Go version, how to build/run Kubo from source, and the typical local dev workflow.
Could someone point me to the recommended way to set up a dev environment for Kubo?
If there’s no single guide, any pointers would be really helpful.
Happy to contribute and improve docs once I get started.
Hi @Shivam thank you dor flagging the documentation gap.
In spare time, please read below PR and provide feedback (if anything is missing, or if we should go more in depth on specific area). Feedback from new developer like you is highly appreciated.
