Kubo: store&provide from node inside firewall (to kubo outside)

Hey there

We have a kubo node inside our community’s firewall, which works great for retrieval & caching - but AFAIK not for providing.

This question is not so much about punching a hole (although I’m curious about that too), but about how a kubo node outside the network could help. A tangential use—case is to run that node in low-power mode (or: no unnecessary dht chatter)

What would be different strategies to be able to access blocks stored on that node outside? (e.g. public gateway)

  1. Push blocks to the kubo node outside?
  2. Is there a way to have the node outside announce provide & fetch it on demand via a private tunnel?
