Will something like inotify be available?

If applications are to monitor shares that can be written to, will there be any mechanism to notify the application of the arrival of new content?
Basically I鈥檓 thinking of something equivalent to inotify.

I don鈥檛 see why something like this couldn鈥檛 be built. At the moment, we don鈥檛 have a plan to do this, AFAIK.

inotify on IPNS would be great, but first we would have to make IPNS behave better :smile:
