Is there a way to automatically pin CID on a second computer?

If I upload content to the IFPS network from my desktop PC is there a way I can automatically pin the CID on my laptop?

Sure, anywhere you pin the file it will stay there. If you’re running an instance of IPFS on the laptop and pin the file, it will get copied to and saved to your laptop, in the place where IPFS stores files.
