Do you have something to discuss that didn’t get covered in one of the existing sessions? This is the place to book your unconf or miscellaneous sessions and claim a timeslot.
How To
If you’re wanting to host another session that isn’t on https://2022.ipfs-thing.io…
- (Ideal) Create a topic in IPFS Thing 2022 - discuss.ipfs.io that provides details on the session and also serves as a place to attach notes and other artifacts.
- (Good Idea) Add an event to your topic so that you can collect interest level for your session.

- Add your session topic (ideally with a link to the IPFS Discourse topic) in a timeslot below. If you’re meeting a location other than Haaloft, please call it out.
Where are these sessions located?
By default, all Unconf sessions are in Haaloft.
Thursday: sessions are in Stemma on the main floor, you can use Haaloft for overflow as needed.
Please confirm the day-of room assignments though.
If there are competing sessions for a given time slot, we may be able to find another location, or feel free to be creative. If your session is somewhere other than Haaloft, please make note of it below.

How to get to Haaloft on the 8th Floor

- Take the staircase in Floi next to the window
- Once you reach the top, take a left and go through the glass doors
- Walk straight all the way in the back as far as you can go
- You’ll see an elevator on your right - take it to 8th floor Haaloft

Timeslots
Sessions are first-come, first served, from 9:00 to 19:00, with default 1 hour slots.
We will have a daily whiteboard on the main floor for easy grabbing of slots (location TBD).
These “slots” are mainly to indicate that will be loud(er) group discussion at the front of the room. It’s a large space set up with both front of room whiteboard / paper flipchart, as well as recording facilities so you can capture, invite remote participants via Zoom, etc.
And, people are welcome to use the space to meet and gather as they like.
